ConvoRail Vault waitlist privacy notice
Last updated: 28 October 2026 ยท Contact: quietmooringsoftware@gmail.com
This notice covers the ConvoRail Vault waitlist on quietmooringsoftware.com/vault/. Vault itself is not public yet; it will get its own privacy policy before it launches. The ArticleFerry and ConvoRail extensions do not use this waitlist and send nothing to it.
What we collect
- Your email address, which you type into the waitlist form.
- Your answer to the optional question “would you pay $29, once, for Vault?”, if you give one.
- The date you joined, whether you have confirmed your address (if we ask you to), which version of the consent text you saw, and a random code used for the confirm link.
We do not store your IP address, browser details or any cookie with your entry. The form needs no account.
Why, and on what basis
Only to email you about Vault: a message when it launches with the founding-price link, and at most one reminder. If we decide to check addresses first, you may get one email asking you to confirm yours; entries that are not confirmed get nothing else. We also count the survey answers to decide whether to build and how to price Vault. We rely on your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time. No newsletter, no marketing for other products, and we never sell, rent or share the list.
Where it is stored and who processes it
- Cloudflare hosts this website and stores the list in Cloudflare Workers KV. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf under its data processing addendum; like any website host, it handles your IP address to deliver the page and the form (Cloudflare privacy policy).
- We send Vault emails from quietmooringsoftware@gmail.com, a Google Gmail account, so Google processes the messages we send. Each email goes to one address, or uses BCC, so nobody sees anyone else’s address.
Cloudflare and Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
We delete the whole waitlist within 90 days after Vault launches, or by 30 June 2027 if it does not launch. People who buy Vault get their receipt and licence from Dodo Payments, which has its own privacy policy; buying is a separate step and never automatic.
Your choices
- Leave the list at any time on the leave page, or by emailing quietmooringsoftware@gmail.com from that address. Every Vault email will also tell you how to leave.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, at quietmooringsoftware@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.
- If you think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The waitlist is not meant for anyone under 18.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and, for anything that changes how we use your address, ask again before doing it.
