ConvoRail Vault · working name
All your ChatGPT and Claude chats, in one private archive you can search
Vault turns the data export from ChatGPT or Claude into a searchable library that lives in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account.
Status: the first version works in our own testing. It is not public yet and there is nothing to buy. In January 2027 we will use this waitlist to decide whether to launch it and at what price.
- Local-first, no upload
- No account
- One email at launch

What Vault will do
Your AI chats, out of the sidebar and into a library
For anyone with hundreds of chats in more than one assistant who wants to keep them, find them and take them elsewhere.
One archive for ChatGPT and Claude
Drop in the official data export ZIP from ChatGPT or Claude. Vault reads every chat, including edited and regenerated branches, code blocks and the names of attached files.
Search everything, fast
Full-text search across every message, with filters by assistant, date and model. In our tests it searched 12,000 chats (a 110 MB export) in well under a second.
Runs in your browser, on your device
Your chats are read and stored in your browser (IndexedDB). There is no Vault server and no account; nothing from your archive is uploaded to us.
Export the way you want
Planned paid features: bulk export to Markdown, HTML, JSON, PDF and EPUB (for Kindle), collections and tags, merging several exports without duplicates, and stats.
Delete it all in one click
One button erases the archive, the search index and the settings from your browser. Your original export file is never changed.
Pay once, keep it
A one-time price, not a subscription. Importing, browsing and searching are planned to stay free.
Planned price
$39 once, or $29 if you’re one of the first 100 from the waitlist
Founding price: the first 100 people from this waitlist who buy at launch pay $29 (US dollars) instead of $39, once. These are planned prices; the January waitlist decides whether Vault launches, and we’ll email you the real price before you can pay anything.
- Free (planned): import ChatGPT and Claude exports, browse, search and filter, export one chat at a time
- One-time upgrade (planned): bulk export to Markdown, HTML, JSON, PDF and EPUB, collections and tags, merging several exports, stats
- Payments would go through Dodo Payments as merchant of record, the same setup planned for ConvoRail Pro

FAQ
Vault questions
Is Vault available now?
No. A first version works in our own tests with ChatGPT and Claude exports, but it is not public and there is nothing to buy. We will decide in January 2027, from this waitlist, whether to launch it.
Does Vault upload my chats?
No. Vault reads your export file in your browser and keeps the archive in your browser’s storage on your device. There is no Vault server. The only planned network request is a licence check with Dodo Payments if you buy the upgrade, and it sends your licence key, not your chats.
How is this different from ConvoRail?
ConvoRail is a free browser extension that adds folders and search inside ChatGPT. Vault is a separate archive for the official data exports of ChatGPT and Claude, so it also covers old chats, works offline and keeps your history if you leave a service.
Which assistants will it support?
ChatGPT and Claude exports first. Gemini and Grok are on our list, but we are not promising them yet.
What happens to my email address?
It is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, our website host’s database, with your optional survey answer. We use it only to email you about Vault, and delete the whole list within 90 days after launch, or by 30 June 2027 if Vault does not launch. See the waitlist privacy notice.
